Astang Ayurveda is a dedicated and well known Ayurveda Hospital at Bhubaneswar providing Ayurveda treatment to people of India and Abroad. Sincere effort for the propagation of Ayurveda is a continuous process at our Institution.

Bhubaneswar, the temple city and also the number one smart city of India attracted uncountable people around the world for numbers of good reasons. This time Ayurveda is the reason of attraction.

With immense pleasure we announce the 18th Foundation day celebration of Astang Ayurveda on 10th and 11th November, 2018. On this occasion a national level Symposium “ASTHAA 2018 (Astang Ayurveda for Health and Academics)” will be conducted. The theme of the Symposium will be   “Principle to Practice in Ayurveda". Along with a workshop on “scientific paper writing” will be conducted.

We gladly invite your active participation which will make the program a grand success.

Objectives:

  1. To reciprocate the basic principle of Ayurveda in the field of Ayurveda practice.
  2. To update knowledge regarding latest researches, newer trends in the practice of Ayurveda.
  3. Offer a platform for research scholars to write research papers in scientific methods.

ASTHAA2018

HIGHLIGHTS:

ASTAHAA (Astang Ayurveda for Health and Academics) is an initiative to propagate value based health system and academic activities among the Human society. ASTHAA2018 is a movement for capacity building of Ayurveda and other medicine scholars. Regular health camp and capacity building through academic workshop is a holistic practice at ASTHAA.

This time we are going to organize blood donation, free health checkup and free medicine distribution camps on 10th November, 2018. On the same day a workshop on “Scientific Paper Writing” will be conducted for the capacity building of 90 emerging doctors. The speakers include Dr Sanghamitra Pati, Director, ICMR- RMRC, Bhubaneswar and Dr Pratap Jena, Associate professor, KIIT School of Public Health, Bhubaneswar.

On 11th November, around 250 Ayureda doctors from different parts of the country are invited to attend a nine hour long "National level Symposium on Ayurveda", "Principle to Practice in Ayurveda" which will be graced by the presence of Dr S Gopakumar, Trivandrum and Prof. Subhash Ranade, Pune.

Dr S Gopakumar is a famous doctor and teacher of international repute. Recently he spoke to the Honourble Members of Parliament of United Kingdom at London.

Prof. Subhash Rande leads the organization, “International Acdemy of Ayurveda”,that works in 78 countries.
We are going to publish 300 numbers of copies of a souvenir on this occasion.
